Single Mom Empowerment Expert. Woman of courage, destiny and purpose.
Today is my first guest post feature. YEAH ME! I got this concept from Twittermoms, and loved the idea of someone adding their 2 cents to my blog. Stay tuned for more guests, especially males, as I seek out their perspective on many of the topics that I cover.
Dakim and I have been hanging out in the Single Parents Group over at I See Color. He is the single father of three daughters, and he’s here to offer a male perspective on one of my previous posts, Ten things I wish I’d done before having kids.
Be sure to check out Dakim’s blog, People Speak.
1. I wish I’d known what a vasectomy was.
2. I wish I’d known what a vasectomy was.
3. I wish I hadn’t gotten caught by the pregnant coochie.
4. I wish I’d known drinking and kids go hand and hand.
5. I wish I’d seen baby pictures of my ex’s teeth, so I would have known how much braces were going to cost.
6. I have daughters, so I wish I’d known what I would look like as a girl. My babies are beautiful.
7. I wish I’d studied women more, so I would have known that more than one woman in a house is worse than eating fire and arguments go on for weeks. I have 3 daughter, a female dog and had a wife. No wonder I’m gray.
8. I wish I’d stayed in college, because maybe I would have had more sex than when I was married.
9. I wish I’d have worked out more, so when these big azz 16-yr-old boys stop by…nuff said.
10. I wish I’d have waited to have kids. I was 18, but I still love my babies.

Dakim’s list is funny. I got a kick out of it, too.
