Single, Sexy and Saved? Is it possible? Although sexy is a taboo word in Christian circles, it’s something that many saved singles want crave and desire in a mate.
So what is sexy? Well, everyone has their own definition, and it usually has nothing to do with a hemline, cleavage, biceps or washboard abs. It’s that tacit expression of confidence and self-worth that one exudes when they walk, and the eye contact and self-assurance they have when they talk.
Who is she? She’s the woman who entices a man with what’s between her ears rather than with what’s between her legs. Her emotional security let’s her rock an ankle length skirt, long-sleeve jacket and a head wrap better than Halle Berry can wear a mini dress. She epitomizes that Proverbs 31 woman men so desperately seek: a good steward who is generous, compassionate, diligent, energetic and enterprising.
Who is he? He’s a gentleman. Yes, a man who is gentle and kind. He’s also charismatic, but far more interested in stroking a woman’s mind rather than her behind. No, I’m not talking about some fast talker who’s running game while trying to get in a woman’s head. I’m referring to the man with a plan. You know, the man who talks with you, not to you. The one who can talk politics and also knows how to plan a trip. He’s more interested in praying for you than preying on you. He’s empathetic and compassionate. And he has an aura of confidence about him that draws women to him like a magnet.
I admit that there are a lot of us who want a mate who is single and saved. But a sexy man or woman who is devoted to their faith is the total package.
